Occasionally errors in shipping are advantageous, and when our shipment from Anthill Farms arrived, we were thrilled to see that it included the spectacular 2019 Peters Vineyard Syrah. Paid for, shipped and ready to deliver, this is strongly recomended. From a vineyard planted with about 2% Viognier, the 2019 Syrah Peters Vineyard has a medium ruby-purple color and continually evolving aromas of Morello cherries, blueberries, dried herbs, lavender and bitter chocolate. The mediumbodied palate offers delicate, crunchy fruits, with fine peppery accents, a pleasurable chewy texture and bursts of juicy acidity that drive the long, layered finish. 95+/100 Antonio Galloni
